Using headphones for music, giving up a computer to someone who needs it for SI work when you are not using it for SI work, keeping quiet when others are working, cleaning up after yourself, keeping food and drink away from computers, not leaving food in the fridge over the weekend.

Attend class, hold two/three sessions, write session plans, turn in paperwork, plan for session, hold an office hour, and attend team meeting.
What does an SI leader do throughout the week?

SI leaders facilitate learning while professors teach. It is not the job of an SI leader to relecture or grade.
What is the difference between an SI leader and a professor?

Look at the pamphlet located by the door of your SI session room for safety information. Have the campus police number in your phone. If serious, dial 911.
What do you do if there is an emergency?

Record of attendence for a session that helps the GA keep track of grade statistics. This helps justify our program.
What are sign-in sheets?

Mondays, 10:00-8:00. Tuesday-Thursday 10:00-6:00. Friday, 10:00-1:00.

A tutor works a student through a question and occasionally teaches. An SI leader watches over a study group and gets the students to help each other. An SI leader should only step in when a student struggles and another student cannot help.
What is the difference between a tutor and a supplemental instructor?
