Surrogates and IPs have a say in who they match with. Surrogates and IPs are asked to identify their matching preferences and the matching team will work to align options for each based off of their matching preferences. Additional factors considered are the laws of the surrogate and IPs home state around surrogacy and obtaining medical pre-approval for the surrogate at IPs IVF clinic.
What is the difference between Gestational and Traditional Surrogacy?
Gestational Surrogacy is the process by which a fertilized embryo is implanted in a gestational carrier, who will carry the resulting child/children to term, but bears no genetic relationship to them.
