Call 911 & Get the AED, give the dispatcher your location and description of the event. Provide immediate necessary care and try to stabilize the employee until first responders arrive.

1.Hidden: placed out of sight or purposefully concealed?
2.Obviously suspicious: no return address, odd odor, leakage, liquid, powder, wires?
3.Not Typical: out of place for this location or potentially related to a threat?
Aid and assist handicapped occupants or visitors. Close (but do not lock) the door to the area and keep talking to a minimum and listen to instructions. Report to the designated evacuation area. Check in with your supervisor or other designee assigned to account for employees.

Should be removed from the field, striped, bagged and stored in a designated location for disposal.

Directly outside buildings, due to falling debris. If you are already outside, stay clear of buildings, powerlines, overpasses and trees.

These should always been taken seriously, and requires immediate notification of another near by employee to call the police while you remain the phone and attempt to gather further details.

Supervisors are responsible for notifying other direct reports not in the building.

Evacuate the building and report to the designated evacuation meeting area. Check in with your supervisor or other designee assigned to account for employees. Do not reenter the building unless authorized.

Find safe shelter immediately. Evacuate to higher ground or out of the area if told to do so. Do not climb to a closed space, such as an attic or rafters, to avoid getting trapped by rising floodwaters. Do not walk, swim or drive through flood waters. Six inches of moving water can knock you down.
