What is the difference between Hunters and Jumpers?

Bonus: What are Handy rounds and optimum time rounds?

Hunters: A judge scores the horse and rider based on their performance. They want the horse to look smooth, get the correct striding, and stay level.

Jumpers: Course is timed. Horses have to go faster than the minimum speed and clear the jumps to move on to the next round.

Handy Rounds: part of a Derby. Usually scored better on tighter turns that still look controlled

Optimum Time: They cant go too fast or too slow through the course
