If you choose to write the optional in-class essay, what happens to the lowest scoring in-class essay?

It will be dropped.  The highest in-class essay will be added to the Ewrt 1A score and the second highest in-class essay will be counted towards the LART 250 points.

What is a reflective piece/ essay?

In this short essay, you discuss what you have learned as a writer in EWRT 1A and why you think you are ready to move on to Ewrt 1B or 2.

What is the time commitment required of an EWRT 1A + LART 250 student?

Four 1 hour 50 minutes sessions / week + homework 

= 2 synchronous sessions + 2 asynchronous sessions + homework

= about 14-16 hours

What's the late submission policy for this class?
