What is the popcorn effect? 

This business is like making popcorn. What happens to the popcorn when you first put it in the microwave?
NOTHING!!!

 You hear nothing for the first twenty or thirty seconds. Then all of a sudden you hear a pop, then another pop, and the rest is history.

That's what your business could look like. Each kernel represents a seed you have planted: a call to your friend who said no due to bad timing, a field training you went to where the client said "not now," a guest you invited who liked the opportunity but was going through a transition, a brochure you handed out to a prospect who still hasn't had a chance to look at it yet, a business card you handed out that has not yet called you back. Those are all kernels getting ready to POP!
