Leadership role as a member of TC. Role model at all times and is accountable for the overall condition and operation of the community and its functions.

To assume a role or attitude even though you don't feel like it.
What is "Acting As If"?
I want it now! Expects instant response. Makes decisions on feelings. Does not learn from past.
What is Instant Gratification?
Shows gratitude. Earns respect of others. Explores alternatives. Controls feelings. Works towards solutions.
What is Self-Respect?
Does not pay attention.
What is Ignores Obligations?
Crew of 5 responsible for being a mediator between community members.
What is Conflict Resolution Crew?
Sarcastic communication that is disrespectful and inconsiderate.

Demands more of others than of self. Quits at first sign of failure.

Plans and Builds toward future. Decides on facts, not feelings.

Responsible for maintaining a log of learning experiences and push ups and ensuring all scheduled LE's are completed and appropriate.

A Therapeutic assignment given by staff to help community members learn from their inappropriate behaviors.

Thinks others opinions are worthless. No respect for rights or property of others.
What is Possessive Attitude?
Sees genuine value in others. Respects the rights, property, and privileges of others.
What is Respect for Others?
Uses anger as a weapon to control others.
What is Shifts Blame or Focus?
Coordinate tutorial program in the community (Pair up someone who needs assistance completing assignments with someone who is willing to help him) and inform staff of arrangements.
What is Education Crew?
Not getting involved. Trying to avoid involvement through minimal participation in the community.
What is "Hiding in the Woodwork"?

Demands more of self than others.

Agrees without commitment. (Says 'yes' without meaning it)

Releasing community members from study hall periods.

Purposely avoiding acknowledgment of wrongful acts.
