Examples: Use your coping skills to cool down so you can think better; raise your hand and ask for help; think through all the strategies your teacher has taught you.

Example: Comfort your hurting friend; talk to your friend who did the hurting; help them fix their friendship.

Examples: Wait your turn; ask the teacher; ask a friend to share with you.

At recess, you get a kickball and start a gam.  While playing, you decided you don't want to play anymore so you take the kickball and go play another game.
Negative: You may have started the game, but now you have taken the ball away from a group who still wants to play.  You must either continue with them, or play something else without that ball.

False: That will spread gossip.  Talk to one trusted friend or to your teacher or counselor to come up with a solution.

Negative: You want the teacher to know, but you must raise your hand to get her attention.  Calling out will distract others taking their test.
