It should be posted in the classroom and discussed with students with in the first few days of school.
What is a list of classroom rules and expectations?
Students should report to homerooms by 9:10 a.m. for announcements and attendance.
What are student expectations?
What you need to have in your possession when you leave a classroom during class time.
What is a staff signed HALL PASS or PLANNER?
Providing healthy snacks and not using food as a reward.
What are the district health and wellness goals?
Excuse notes are dropped off here first thing in the morning.
What is the main office?
It is how you record undesired student behaviors that are handled by administration.
What is a referral?
Students leaving the building at 3:25.
What is parent pick-up?
Having gum, candy or other unsafe items on the way home.
What are prohibited items on a school bus or vehicle?
Finding an alternate time to finish in the classroom or another non-punitive consequence.
What are homework guidelines?
You have to turn in one of these providing the child’s name, grade, date of absence(s), reason for absence, and parent/guardian signature in order to make you absence excused.
What is a note?
When a behavior is managed in the classroom versus a call to administration.
What is the behavior flow chart?
When schools are closed or delayed because of weather conditions or other emergencies.
What is an emergency closing?
In this area: 1.Students will find a seat and remain in their seats until dismissed 2.Students must keep voices at a conversational level. 3.Students may not throw anything. 4.Students should deposit all trash in containers provided.
What is the cafeteria?
These are not to be used during instructional times.
What are cell phones?
Illness, death in family, family emergency (restrictions apply), educational tours and trips with prior approval, and medical/dental appointments.
What are legal excuses?
These behaviors are to be handled by the classroom teacher or staff member witnessing such behaviors.
What are minor behaviors?
Fairley parents wishing to pick their child up from school.
What is sign-out at the end of the day?
Three people that you can talk to if you feel that you are being treated unfairly, being bullied, or have a concern.
What is teacher, administrator, or counselor?
Students are expected to remain quiet and orderly during this activity.
What is a fire/evacuation drill?
Absence for which no explanatory note is submitted within 3 days following the absence, absence with parents’ consent other than those considered excusable, leaving school during school hours and going directly home without the permission of school personnel, all-day or individual class truancy, vacations.
What are unexcused absences?
The method in which you record student attendance.
What is School Tool?
Busses will begin to be called at 3:30 p.m. Teachers are to walk their class down to the buses.
What is dismissal?
The act of being accountable for one’s conduct and obligations. It means understanding and choosing for oneself between right and wrong, and accepting the consequences related to these choices.
What is responsibility?
Reporting an absence to Rachele or subcaller.
