I always thought I would go into medicine but years of schooling made me think differently. In college I ended up teaching at a preschool, loved it, and decided then that I wanted to teach.

Every day, every week, every year is different. Most definitely the students! Sounds so cliché but knowing I am impacting their experiences is truly rewarding.

Cooper City Community Center Summer Camp, Toddler Tech, LFE Riding Institute
Where else has Ms. Brittany worked?
I grew up here, went to this school, and when I was in high school at CCHS I was in the Childcare Program and loved working with kids. I heard that the CCES Aftercare Program was hiring Student Workers

Family and friends (old and new). Seeing and hearing from students that I formerly taught.
What inspires you? (Mrs. Gwaltney)
Hold on tight, surround yourself with those that inspire you, ask questions, remember that teaching truly is a great job and try not to let others convince you otherwise. We need great teachers.
What advice do you have for a first year teacher? (Mrs. Gwaltney)
Ms. Allbright was an amazing mentor and inspired me to be an amazing supervisor like she was.

Enjoying the backyard with family and friends.....firepit, floating dock, paddleboarding......trying to stretch the weekend as long as I can. …..and then making sure all is ready for the week ahead for my own children and my students
