The date the Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Committee was formed to achieve the mission to support the Regina Work Preparation Centre’s strategic focus of “building a learning workplace that is respectful, diverse, inclusive and healthy”.
Beginning in 2020 Dale Young and the Executive Director attended training from the U of R around Developing and Integrating Equity, Diversity and Inclusion within organizations. They established a Sub-Committee of the board – “The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Committee” - to begin implementation of an EDI Strategy with the overall goal of ensuring there is equity, diversity, and inclusion in our workplace.
