What is the current AEP process? Which items do we need on file before we can AEP a student? 

Prior to an AEP submission, the following parameters must be in place:

  • We must     have all TRFs satisfied in the checklist. If we do not have all TRFs on     file, we cannot submit the AEP.
  • Please     confirm with the student that they are requesting SMR transcripts in a     timely manner. 
  • We must     have a phone conversation explaining the risks and benefits of AEP
  • Talk     thoroughly with the student about their educational history and ensure we     have some sort of transcript(s) available – official or unofficial     transcripts.
