This Provincial Park was named after the 20th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario from 1963 to 1968. It features a 1 acre large pool for swimming.

As another clue, the first name is also the term for the English title, ranking below a marquess and above a viscount. The last name is the motion needed to move a canoe.

Earl Rowe features a large manmade lake that, due to being manmade is constantly full of harmful bacteria. This is largely why the acre large pool was made in order to provide campers a safe place to swim.
