I already have an employee handbook; can I upload that into RUN?
No.
You can use your current handbook as a reference when creating your handbook in the RUN platform.

Where are the documents stored
The documents are stored in the cloud database, which helps eliminate paper & is great for disaster recovery. The Doc Vault also has 128-bit encryption, so your documents are safe and secure
Will I get notifications when property or certifications expire?
Yes!
you can set up custom reminders in RUN that will alert you based on the settings you put into the system. The reminders will then show up in the Notification Center on the home page. The custom reminders you can set up are:
• Employment Info – Birth Date & Anniversary of Hire Date
• Job Info – Job Start Date
• Assigned Company Property – Expiration Date
• Employee License/Cert – Expiration Date
• Employee Performance – Next Review Date
What time does payroll have to be completed by for next day delivery?
The deadline for processing payroll with direct deposit varies by your local time zone:
ET: 5pm
CT: 4pm
MT: 3pm
PT: 4:30pm
If your payroll consists only of paper checks, the cutoff time is 5:00pm local time for Eastern and Central time zones and 5:30pm local time for Mountain and Pacific, on the business day prior to your check date.
If payroll is processed on time, your employees should expect their direct deposit to hit their bank account on the check date. However, timing is controlled by employee’s individual banks, and ADP cannot guarantee the exact timing of deposit.
Does the employee handbook make recommendations on what should be included?
Yes.
You’ll see recommended federal and state policies, be able to select from a library of additional policies or add your own custom policies.
Are certificates of completion provided & if so, where are they stored once complete?
Certificates of completion are provided if it is a requirement of the course.
Once the employees complete the course and the certificate is issued, it will be available for employees in their MyADP account, LMS view.
Practitioners or owners can access the certificate of completion for their employees from the LMS view as well.
What happens if I run out of space?
If you have met the 2GB capacity, you will have to remove some documents, you are not able to purchase extra space
Can LMS be purchased as a standalone product?
Yes!
How does a holiday impact check date/payroll delivery?
If your payroll check date falls on a holiday, ADP RUN will automatically move your check date to the business day before to help prevent any delays.
Can EEs acknowledge the handbook virtually?
Yes!
via the employee access, employees can sign off on the employee handbook virtually. You will also be able to see which employees have/have not acknowledged the handbook and send reminders.
What courses are included with the Learning Management System (LMS)?

How much storage does Doc Vault have?
The Doc Vault has 2GB of storage capacity.
This is equivalent to about 125,000 documents. The amount used displays on the manage documents page below the list of folders.
How do I access the compliance database?
Once you log into RUN, you will simply click on the HR icon on the lefthand side of the screen.
If you are on the Essential bundle, you will then scroll down and see the tiles for Tip of the week & webinars and podcasts.
If you are on one of the HR bundles, you will simply click on the HR compliance and guidance tile
How many earnings & deductions can I have?
You can have a maximum of 30 active earnings and 30 active deductions.

Am I able to create and upload my own courses or third-party content?
Yes!
If you have any internal or third-party courses, you can upload them to the LMS and assign them to staff. The file types supported are .mp4, .mp3, .pdf, and .zip formats (cannot exceed 500MB) and the E-learning standards are all versions of Scorm, AICC, XAPI, CMI5 & LTI

Is the employee handbook available in Spanish?
Unfortunately, the employee handbook isn’t available in Spanish.
You can take your handbook to a translation service if translation is necessary.
What if my employee worked in more than one department?
Hourly employees can be assigned to more than one department, but salaried employees must be assigned to one department only.
For hourly employees with multiple departments, select a department column in the payroll worksheet. You can enter all the payroll information related to that department you selected in the same row in the worksheet. To select additional departments, click the employee’s name and select add row to create a new row on the worksheet for that employee.
Why does an employee handbook matter to a small business?
Having an employee handbook will help your business in the following ways:
• Communicate policies, regulations & benefits to employees.
• Set expectations about performance and conduct.
• Help respond to employee claims and manage potential legal exposure.
• Proactively address routine employee questions.
How can employees access the courses?
Employees can access the courses via their MyADP account, whether desktop or the ADP Mobile App.
Access to MyADP is required for employees to be assigned learning courses through the LMS. They can view assigned, overdue and upcoming courses & also get email notifications when a course is assigned or completed.
What happens once I hit approve to run payroll?
ADP will calculate, deposit & file your federal & state taxes.
The funds for taxes will be pulled from your business bank account 24 hours after clicking approve.
Your employees will be paid on the check date you assigned.
If you are not using the ADPCheck for employees that are receiving paper checks, their pay will be withdrawn from the business bank account once they deposit their check.
