If reading station, a level 1. Any other station should be a ZERO... including writing center.
What is the voice level in the hallway?

What is the expectation when asked to line up to go somewhere?
Line up quickly and quietly on your number spot and wait patiently with your bodies to yourself.

How many people can wait in line for the bathroom by the door?

What should I do with the last 30 seconds or so of a rotations?
Start to clean up my area (put books/reading things away, put away writing materials, close my computer (and plug it in if its your last computer station of the day).
What do you do if you see someone you know in the hallway to say hi?
Wave, still zero.
When the teacher says "Class", what do you say?
Yes (however she says it)
What do I do if someone is distracting me or bothering me?
1. Try to ignore it.
2. Give them a silent signal.
3. Move to a better spot.
4. Tell a teacher as the last choice.
When is it okay to touch other people's things, especially the teachers?
When they give me permission.
What happens if I miss MORE than half of a station because I am with a teacher?
I can choose between that station or the next station... unless it's ipad and there aren't enough ipads.
When it is the beginning or end of the day, how do you leave or enter the building?
Level 1-2, WALKING FEET, and a calm body with bodies to yourself.
When should we go to the bathroom during the day? Give me 3 options.
1. In the morning before school starts
2. Brain breaks
3. Quiet/WIN time
4. Before we leave for recess
5. Rotation Time (when you are not working with a teacher).
**Any time that is more of your independent time... NOT during a lesson :)
What should I be doing if my teacher OR my classmate is talking?
1. Stay quiet.
2. Look at them.
3. Have a calm body.
4. Be ready to repeat what they say if asked.
What do I do if a teacher calls me to come work with them?
Stop what I'm doing immediately, put away what I am doing as quickly as possible, and go right there!
What are the expectations when getting your lunch in the lunch line? (There are a lot... so can you at least name 3 of them?
1. If you are a new class or lunch choice, wait until the lunch teacher has seen you and told you to go (cold lunch, tell them how many you have)
2. Grab your milk, silverware, and a napkin.
3. Walk through the line using a Level 0-1
4. Use thumbs up or down or kind manners like "Yes, please" or "No, thank you"
5. Grab your condiments quickly if you need them (remember only 2 ketchups and one of each of the others).
6. Tell them your name at the computer, and WALK to your table.
When the teacher is teaching when is it okay to leave my spot?
1. You ask for permission.
2. It is an emergency: you are bleeding or dying.
Where can I sit? (If my teacher doesn't tell us SPECIFICALLY)
1. On your carpet spot (if there is a lot of people on the carpet)
2. My desk (If I keep my hands on the top).
3. A different spot if given permission or you have a good reason for doing so (like a distraction)
***At morning meeting, everyone should be on the carpet unless you are eating breakfast or given special permission.
1. Look at my classmates to see what they are doing.
2. Ask someone close to you (2-3 people if needed).
3. THEN you may ask a teacher.
What if I have a problem or don't know a word during rotations (and it's not an emergency)?
1. Ask AT LEAST 3 people.
2. Ask yourself is it a big deal? Can I just move on and ask Ms. Teresi when she is free?

What is the expectation when lunch is over and you are lining up for recess?
1. Get in a nice line to dump your tray/lunch in the trash (or put your lunch box in the bin).
2. Make sure the trays line up (find the circle spot).
3. Walk to your line up spot.
4. Wait patiently using a Level 1-2 voice.
5. Bodies are to ourselves, we are staying on our line spots.
6. We do the chant and zip our lips when its time to go.
7. WALK out the recess doors.
**Move the lunch bin to the side with the name TERESI facing forward (OR 2 home lunch friends walk it down and put it outside our classroom, then use our normal recess door.)
When is the only time you should be by the backpacks?
1. In the morning.
2. Getting ready or returning from recess.
3. To grab our snack at snack time.
4. At the end of the day, packing up.

What does it mean to Steal the Stage?
When someone else is talking, you either interrupt them or talk over them to talk about yourself instead of listening to them and asking them questions about what they are saying.
Where do I go if I need a kind of supply? Where are each of the following items: Pencils? Colors? Scissors? Glue? Paper? BLAST boxes? Morning Bucket? Indoor Recess things? Tissue? Computer? Coloring Page?
