1. Try to ignore it.

1. Stay quiet.

What do I do when the bell rings in the beginning of the day?
Finish cleaning up if needed. Go to your carpet spot or finish your breakfast at your desk quickly.

What do I do if a teacher calls me to come work with them?

Stop what I'm doing immediately, put away what I am doing as quickly as possible, and go right there!

What are the expectations when getting your lunch in the lunch line? (There are a lot... so can you at least name 3 of them?

1. If you are a new class or lunch choice, wait until the lunch teacher has seen you and told you to go (cold lunch, tell them how many you have)

2. Grab your milk, silverware, and a napkin.

3. Walk through the line using a Level 0-1

4. Use thumbs up or down or kind manners like "Yes, please" or "No, thank you"

5. Grab your condiments quickly if you need them (remember only 2 ketchups and one of each of the others).

6. Tell them your name at the computer, and WALK to your table.

When the teacher is teaching when is it okay to leave my spot?

1. You ask for permission.

2. It is an emergency: you are bleeding or dying.

1. On your carpet spot (if there is a lot of people on the carpet)

2. My desk (If I keep my hands on the top).

3. A different spot if given permission or you have a good reason for doing so (like a distraction)

***At morning meeting, everyone should be on the carpet unless you are eating breakfast or given special permission.

If I don't know what to do, what do I do?

1. Look at my classmates to see what they are doing.

2. Ask someone close to you (2-3 people if needed).

3. THEN you may ask a teacher.

What if I have a problem or don't know a word during rotations (and it's not an emergency)? 

1. Ask AT LEAST 3 people.

2. Ask yourself is it a big deal? Can I just move on and ask Ms. Teresi when she is free?

What is the expectation when lunch is over and you are lining up for recess?

1. Get in a nice line to dump your tray/lunch in the trash (or put your lunch box in the bin).

2. Make sure the trays line up (find the circle spot).

3. Walk to your line up spot.

4. Wait patiently using a Level 1-2 voice.

5. Bodies are to ourselves, we are staying on our line spots.

6. We do the chant and zip our lips when its time to go.

7. WALK out the recess doors.

**Move the lunch bin to the side with the name TERESI facing forward (OR 2 home lunch friends walk it down and put it outside our classroom, then use our normal recess door.)

1. In the morning.

When someone else is talking, you either interrupt them or talk over them to talk about yourself instead of listening to them and asking them questions about what they are saying.
