Switch between open Excel files by clicking on View > Switch Windows within Excel.
*Tip- if you are in the office, you can expand your Excel window across both monitors and have different Excel files in each screen

Where is the QAIP Qualitative Checklist located and what is it?
On ALFRED under Audit Planning and Execution.
The QAIP Qualitative checklist is used to review the quality of audits and auditor judgement while performing audit steps which include identifying risks, testing and issuing findings.
What is the best way to import/export documents?
ALFRED JOB AID!
1. After logging in to TeamEWP, close the EWP Explorer screen.
2. Click the EWP icon, then Preferences.
3. On the File Locations tab, select Import and Export Files and select Edit, as shown below.
4. Click Computer in the left pane. This will display your available drives.
a. NOTE: TeamCloud users will notice there are two C: drives.
b. The first C: drive is a restricted network drive within the hosted environment.
c. The second C: drive is your local drive, and will include the formal name of your computer.
d. For example: “C: on FL70LP1CLARKJ”.
5. To establish the default location where you will save work papers to be imported to or exported from TeamEWP, navigate to the applicable drive and respective folders. Note that in doing this you will not see the current work papers that are saved in the folders, only the folder structure.
6. Once you have selected the folder from which you will be importing, click Open. You will see that “Import and Export Files” is now updated with your preferred location.
Are TeamTalk notes required?
No, up to the lead, manager and director.
How can you have better visibility into edits made in work papers?

The number of sign-offs required follows our procedure steps, this is not a requirement from TeamMate.
What can you do if you have slow or lagging files in TeamMate?

Reference files instead of embedding/hyperlinking files (e.g. Refer to "Document 1" within the references tab)
How do you remove documents?

Open the Browser and select the desired Workpaper
Click the Delete button in the Home ribbon | Edit panel
Delete any corresponding Hyperlinks created (Ref Tab of either the Procedure, Issues viewer, or editor)
What is one of the features added to the workpaper that will help with mapping controls?
You can view and insert controls directly in the testing workpapers.

What information should you include in your workpaper regarding sampling, especially if you do not use the sample calculator?
A rationale for why the sample selection was chosen. Why is the sample amount you selected enough to determine whether the control was effective?
Can we update the Word and Excel versions in TeamMate AM (our current version of TeamMate)?
No BUT they will be updated to newer versions in TeamMateM+.

What are things you can do to prevent loss of documents in EWP?

Turn on auto-save
Save and exit documents prior to undocking
Do not embed files only reference them
Take extra caution when opening large workpapers or workpapers that are password protected
How will entering time/hours booked to an audit change?
You can enter time directly from an audit. All of the audit info will automatically default!

Yes. We had issues in the beginning but TeamMate fixed them. If you have issues printing, please let us know.

Open the project in the Browser
Select the Program Group Folder in the left pane
Click the signoff icon on the Home ribbon and select Batch Signoff
Check the workpapers you want to sign off
Select either Prepare or Review as your sign off action

DA! TeamMate+ will have enhanced Data Analytic tools.
How often are the quantitative reports run and what can they tell you?

Do we have the ability to work offline from TeamMate?
TeamMate does have some functionality to work offline, however, we could not set it up due to Allstate's technology. Although this is something that isn't available, the impact to your day to day job should be low.
