God blesses us so that we might do this, in turn.

Holiness is about both being separated from this and set apart to a special purpose.

This is the counterpoint of grace and mercy; it means to get what we deserve.

By living generously, we are putting this in God instead of in ourselves or in our possessions.

Inner holiness will affect this.

According to 2 Corinthians 6:17, God requires this from his sons and daughters.

Although some people view these as restrictive, God has placed them in our lives to protect us from harm.

This goes hand-in-hand with grace, and it means not getting the punishment we deserve to get.

This is the opposite of generosity.
We have these in our life, which affect us both for good or bad. We strive to lessen exposure to evil ones, and pursue positive godly ones.
What are influences?
According to Exodus 40:12-16, Aaron and his sons were set apart to serve in the Tabernacle - only after they were washed in water, clothed in new garments, and anointed with oil. This process is mirrored in this, as given in Acts 2:38.
What is the plan of salvation?
Worldly influence seeks to conform Christians to its culture, while the Bible speaks of this happening instead, by the renewing of our minds.
What is transformation?
Recognizing God's grace in our lives will increase this?
What is our compassion toward others?
This is the attitude in which generosity must be practiced.

What is growing in my relationship with Jesus?
