Smoking has horrible effects on your body systems like your lungs and esophagus. But what many people don't know is that there is an ingredient in cigarettes may increase the risk for sudden death from a condition where the heart does not beat properly and as a result the heart does not pump blood properly. What ingredient causes this effect?
What is nicotine I and probably many of you didn't know nicotine was dangerous i thought it was just the ingredient that make it addicting. So not does cigarettes only cause damage to your lungs and esophagus it also can cause fatal effects on your heart.

When you have these effects you look overall unattractive and people will often exclude you. Giving you a lower chance of getting jobs or even having fewer friends. Overall these effects will leave you with a low self esteem witch isn't good for your mental and physical health.

Typically teens who are peer pressured start smoking at around 13 to 14 years old. They mostly always take up smoking largely to fit in with their older friends. And to make it worse teens who start smoking at a younger age typically remain dedicated smokers as they grow older.

Alberta Health Services says that teens mainly start smoking because of social acceptance. They state that to many people in movies smoke and that the directors make the person seem cool about it. How do you think this would rub off on teens and younger audiences?
Alberta Health Services say that this can rub off on kids making them think since he smokes and hes cool I can smoke and ill be cool.
