Bosses
This is one of the first bosses players will encounter and involves 2 phases, with the second being much faster and more aggressive.
What is the Eye of Cthulhu?
This NPC is responsible for giving the player vital equipment to enhance their fishing abilities.
Who is the Angler?
These structures occur naturally in forests and stretch high into the sky and down into the ground. They contain unique chests and gnomes can spawn within.
What are living trees?
This item can be purchased from the merchant and is required to begin fishing.
What is the bug net?
Um, actually... new characters do not start with a hammer.
These bosses are required in order for Plantera bulbs to begin spawning in the jungle.
What are the Mechanical bosses?
This bait, used for fishing, is tied for the highest bait power and it's name is a double-entendre on an action done when one is typically alone.
What is master bait?
This biome is the only one that doesn't have a boss attached to it, like how Queen Bee is attached to the jungle.
What is the desert?
This item has the largest crafting tree.
What is the Shellphone?
The world consists of 5 layers. Space reaches from the top of the world to the sky. Surface reaches from the sky down to the underground layer, the sky is a part of the surface layer. Underground starts 100ft below world 0ft. Cavern is the largest and goes down to the final layer, the underworld, with lava down to the bottom of the world.
Um, actually... underground starts at 0ft.
Upon entering hardmode for the first time, the speed at which the Crimson/Corruption and the Hallow spread is increased until this boss is defeated.
What is Plantera?
This furniture item increases your fishing power by 5 when you use it while fishing.
What is a toilet?
This biome contains a liquid that can modify certain items, un-craft items and give items that give permanent buffs.
What is the Aether.
This hardmode crafting material is the Crimson counterpart to the Corruption's cursed flame.
What is Ichor?
In hardmode, defeating certain enemies or bosses rewards souls. These souls can be souls of Flight, Might, Blight, Light, Night, Sight and Fright.
Um, actually... souls of Blight do not exist.
In "For the Worthy" and "Zenith" secret seeds, This boss has a body that is twice as large in width and height.
What is King Slime?
Sometimes, when fishing during this event, enemies may emerge from the water when you reel them in.
What is a blood moon?
This region of the world has least amount of naturally spawning enemies at only 3.
What is space?
1.4.5 added this enemy as the only alternative way to obtain the dungeon's Water Bolt magic item.
What is the Water Bolt Mimic?
Upon entering hardmode, the evil biomes will spread much faster and a "V" shape will emerge from the center of the world, spreading your world's evil biome, along with the Hallow. This "V" extends from the surface, all the way down to the underworld. On top of this, breaking altars will convert one random block into an evil biome block.
Um, actually... as of 1.4.4, breaking altars no longer converts a block.
These bosses all have "enraged" states that change their behaviour, speed, damage and other attributes when fought outside their biome or at a different time of day.
What are Skeletron, Skeletron Prime, Queen Bee, Plantera, Golem, Duke Fishron, and Empress of Light?
This accessory is creating by combining all the rewards from the angler along with another item, resulting in the best accessory to have equipped while fishing.
What is the lavaproof tackle bag?

In order to fish in lava, one either needs to fish using bait caught in the underworld, use a Golden Fishing Rod or Hotline Fishing Hook, or fish with the Lavaproof Fishing Hook or it's upgrade.
Um, actually... the Golden Fishing Rod cannot fish in lava on it's own.
