Define characterization and tell me the two different ways authors use it.
Characterization is the way an author reveals the special qualities of a character in a story either directly or indirectly.
What is the difference between direct and indirect characterization?
Direct characterization is when the author TELLS the audience what the personality/look of a character is directly. Indirect characterization is when the author SHOWS the personality of the character through the STEAL method.
What are the parts of an email that are used most often?
