To assess what you have learned throughout the school year. Remember, the test does not measure how amazing you are as a person! Just do your best!

Try to focus on your test and not pay attention to what others are doing.  Do your best on your test and take your time.

Why is it important to get to school on time the day of the test?

To make sure you have time to eat breakfast and prepare for the test with your class.  Testing will start by 8:30 a.m.  It might be helpful to get things ready for school the night before and set an alarm to wake you up in the morning.

Get a drink of water, massage your temples, go to the bathroom and put cold water on your face or ask to take a break or a walk.  Take slow, quiet breaths to fill your brain with oxygen.

Those questions can make you feel frustrated and angry. Skip the questions and go answer the questions you know the answer to BUT make sure you GO BACK to the skipped questions so you don't get it wrong for not answering it.
