Its the 4th week of Tsome (Lent). I'm partying most weekends and got drunk last weekend, cussed out my coworker because they were getting on my nerves and haven't really touched my Bible. False, The point of fasting is to liberate your flesh by disciplining it and walking in Christ. Abstaining from meat & dairy is only a way to attain this discipline ourselves but it is not the point of the fast. "Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I discipline my body and bring it into subjection, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified" 1 Corinthians 9:26
