 What are

Interval training: progression of work and rest and speed and duration, this is where short period of work are broken up with period of rest

slow distance work: takes 4-6 months to increase bone density, develops cardio, helps regulate body temp

inversion: is when the respiration rate exceeds the pulse rate and is a sign of a very high temperature after a work out. Sign of distress and immediate action must be taken.

recovery rate: the time it takes for vitals to return to close to normal after exertion. It is about how quickly a horse recovers. The faster a horse recovers, the better condition no matter how high the vitals may be after the work out.
