In 2004, a tsunami hit Kenya and swept a family of hippopotamuses into the ocean. As a result, only one baby hippo survived. This baby hippo formed an unlikely friendship with an old tortoise at a wildlife sanctuary.

The weather turns too cold around their habitat during the winter. The tundra swans move in huge flocks in V formations to places without ice. Then, they rest and eat before moving to a warmer area.
