Yes.  (Official Declaration 2)

We have pleaded long and earnestly in behalf of these, our faithful brethren, spending many hours in the Upper Room of the Temple supplicating the Lord for divine guidance.

He has heard our prayers, and by revelation has confirmed that the long-promised day has come when every faithful, worthy man in the Church may receive the holy priesthood,

Accordingly, all worthy male members of the Church may be ordained to the priesthood without regard for race or color.

What reason did President Woodruff give for why polygamy ended?

Confiscation of Temples by the government and imprisonment of church leaders.

The Lord showed me (President Woodruff) by vision and revelation exactly what would take place if we did not stop this practice (polygamy)....

confiscation and loss of all the Temples, and the stopping of all the ordinances therein, both for the living and the dead, and the imprisonment of the First Presidency and Twelve and the heads of families in the Church, and the confiscation of personal property of the people (all of which of themselves would stop the practice)

(Official Declaration 1)

(T/F) No black person received the priesthood until after the Emancipation Proclamation, signed by President Abraham Lincoln.

False

Historical records show that a few Black men were ordained to priesthood offices during Joseph Smith’s lifetime. At least one Black man, Elijah Able, participated in the washing and anointing ceremony in the Kirtland Temple. In 1847, Brigham Young spoke approvingly of the priesthood service of Q. Walker Lewis, a Black elder living in Massachusetts.

Why would God command his people to practice polygamy?

Latter-day Saints do not understand all of God’s purposes in instituting, through His prophets, the practice of plural marriage. The Book of Mormon identifies one reason for God to command it: to increase the number of children born in the gospel covenant in order to “raise up seed unto [the Lord].” Jacob 2:30.

Dispensation of the fullness of times.  Ancient principles—such as prophets, priesthood, and temples (and polygamy)—would be restored to the earth. Acts 3:21

Benefits:

Large number of children born within faithful Latter-day Saint homes

Inequality of wealth was diminished as economically disadvantaged women married into more financially stable households

Ethnic intermarriages increased, helping unite a diverse immigrant population.

Strengthen a sense of cohesion and group identification among members to see themselves as a "peculiar people," covenant-bound to carry out the commands of God despite outside opposition.

(T/F) Brigham Young taught that one day, black saints would receive the blessings of the priesthood and the temple?

True

In 1852, in the Utah territorial legislature, Brigham Young announced that Black men of African descent could not be ordained to the priesthood. The restriction also meant that men and women of Black African descent could not participate in the endowment and sealing ordinances in the temple. However, Brigham Young also stated that Black Saints would eventually “have the privilege of all [that other Saints] have the privilege [of] and more.”

There is no documented revelation related to the origin of the priesthood and temple restriction. Church Presidents after Brigham Young maintained the restriction, in spite of increasing social pressure, because they felt they needed a revelation from God to end it.

13 We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul—We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. An angel threatened Joseph Smith with what weapon if he did not teach the principle of polygamy?

A sword.

When God commands a difficult task, He sometimes sends additional messengers to encourage His people to obey. Consistent with this pattern, Joseph told associates that an angel appeared to him three times between 1834 and 1842 and commanded him to proceed with plural marriage when he hesitated to move forward. During the third and final appearance, the angel came with a drawn sword, threatening Joseph with destruction unless he went forward and obeyed the commandment fully.
