Jonah said his soul fainted within him. What did he mean by “soul fainted"?
He felt like his life was slipping away or he was going to die (vs. 7)

Why did the Lord God make the plant come up over Jonah?
That it might be shade for his head to deliver him from his misery. v.6
Listen to chapter 1 verse 12
“And he said unto them, Take me up, and cast me forth into the sea; so shall the sea be calm unto you: for I know that for my sake this great tempest is upon you.”
Why do you think Jonah responded this way to the crew members?
Jonah knew that he disobeyed the Lord and this was a form of discipline. v.12
Why do you think the Lord spoke to the fish?
Because Jonah was ready to obey the Lord by sacrificing his own desires to the Lord(vs.9)
What 3 things did the people of Nineveh do after Jonah preached to them?
