1st Amendment
Granted African American men the right to vote.

14th amendment
Is the most recent one ratified and prevents Congress from giving itself an immediate pay raise.

This amendment protects against unreasonable searches and seizures.
4th amendment
Granted women the right to vote in 1920.
19th amendment
Limits a president to two terms in office.
22nd amendment
Allows Congress to collect an income tax.
16th amendment
Granted Washington, D.C. three electoral votes in presidential elections.
23rd amendment
That people have rights beyond those listed in the Constitution.
9th amendment
Eliminated poll taxes, making it easier for people to vote.

Prohibited the sale, production, and transportation of alcohol.

This amendment repealed Prohibition, making alcohol legal again.
