It's a reaction by the digestive system to eating certain foods made of wheat, barley, and rye (aka breads).

Cutting back on fatty foods, eating and drink slowly, and reduce harmful foods like sugary sweets and alcohol.
How to avoid seeing the doctor?
It absorbs water from food & nutrients, and stores waste until it is ready to be removed.

It is the leftover that we can't digest and that is eventually removed from the body.
