What are freeform or organic shapes?
The layer closest to the viewer. (often nearest to the bottom of the page)

Adding black to a hue or color. The more black you add the darker the color will be.

Red, Yellow and Blue, set of colors that when combined can make the rest of the colors on the color wheel.

Lines that run a combination of up and down and left to right at the same time. They are slanted
What is a diagonal line?
A three-dimensional object which encloses volume. It has height, width, and depth. Example; Cube, Cylinder, Sphere, etc.

Refers to the size of one object in relation to another object.
What is a scale?
Adding gray to a hue or color. Usually resulting in making the color dull or muted.
What is tone?
Colors purposely placed in a group.

What is line varition?
Three-dimensional objects with irregular or broken contours. They have negative space within their form.
What is an open form?
Things that are closer will appear to have more detail than things further away.
What is detail?
Collection of dots to create value. Dots further apart appear lighter, while dots placed closer together appear darker.
What is stippling?
Group of color pairs sitting across from each other on the color wheel. Considered "opposites" and boost contrast they placed next to each other. Example; Red and Green
