Buttercup had a daughter and her breast milk was so sour that it killed the baby.

Buttercup had a son and he called her a murderer for “killing” Westley. The son screams, “Your love is poison; it kills,” and dies in her arms. The son had died from the poisonous love that Buttercup had given him.
