With faith born not of words
To live and to work on a good farm
Or to be engaged in another agricultural pursuits
In leadership from ourselves and respect from others
I believe in my own ability to work efficiently
Less dependence on begging
More power in bargaining
American agriculture
Can and will hold truth to the best traditions
Deeds achievements won by the present
And past generations of agriculturists
Is pleasant as well as challenging
For I know the joys and discomforts
Think clearly
With such knowledge and skills as I can secure
In the life abundant and enough honest wealth
to help make it so—- for other as well myself
