What is one virtue of fasting the Day of Arafah according to a hadith of our Prophet (PBUH)?
The Prophet peace be up on him, pbuh used to fast on the ninth day of Dhul-Hijja and he said: “Fasting the Day of ‘Arafah (ninth Dhul-Hijja) is an expiation for (all the sins of) the previous year and expiation for (all the sins of) the coming year.” (Muslim)

What are Tahleel (La ilaha ila Allah), Takbeer (Allahu akbar), Tahmeed (Alhamdu lilah)? The Prophet peace be up on him, pbuh said: “There are no days on which good deeds are greater or more beloved to Allah than on these ten days, so recite much Tahleel (saying Laa ilaaha ill-Allah), Takbeer (saying Allahu Akbar) and Tahmeed (saying Alhamdu Lillaah).” (Ahmad -Saheeh)

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "When you see the new moon of Dhu’l-Hijjah, if any one of you wants to offer a sacrifice, then he should stop cutting his hair and nails until he has offered his sacrifice." According to another report he said: "He should not remove anything from his hair or skin." (reported by Muslim) Wisdom behind this is so that they may resemble the people in ihraam so that they may draw closer to Allah during the time of sacrifice.

These important aspects of Eid al-adha are what verse 3 of surat al-fajr is referring to (according to Ibn Abbas) : وَالشَّفْعِ وَالْوَتْرِ
Al shaf3 is "even numbers" and it refers to "The day of Sacrifice", and al-watr is "The Day of Arafah" which is Day 9 of Dhul-hijjah.

This, indeed, is the biggest favor from Allah to this Ummah, for He has completed their religion for them, and they, thus, do not need any other religion or any other Prophet except Muhammad .

What is going for jihad while leaving property and wealth behind? The Prophet (PBUH) said, “There is no deed that is better in the sight of Allah or more greatly rewarded than a good deed done in the (first) ten days of Al-Adha”. It was asked, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah?” The Prophet (PBUH) replied, “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out himself for Jihad taking his wealth with him and does not come back with anything.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari

In Surat Al-burooj V:3 Allah (SWT) swears by: وَشَاهِدٍ وَمَشْهُودٍ The Witness, and What is Witnessed. What do these refer to according to Tirmidhi?
The leader of the days is Friday and it is a Witness. The Witnessed is the Day of Judgment. قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اليوم الموعود يوم القيامة واليوم المشهود يوم عرفة والشاهد يوم الجمعة وما طلعت الشمس ولا غربت على يوم أفضل منه فيه ساعة لا يوافقها عبد مؤمن يدعو الله بخير إلا استجاب الله له ولا يستعيذ من شيء إلا أعاذه الله منه

What is the main reason why these days are so distinguished, according to Ibn Hajar?
Ibn Hajar says in Fath al-Bari: "The most apparent reason for the ten days of Dhu'l-Hijjah being distinguished in excellence is due to the assembly of the greatest acts of worship in this period, i.e. salawat (prayers), siyam (fasting), sadaqah (charity) and the Hajj (pilgrimage). In no other periods do these great deeds combine."
