What should you do when you enter the classroom in the morning?
Once every week, this changes and is the designated teacher helper.
What is LUCKY DUCK?
It is called this when a student is working quietly on a task alone and/or the teacher is at the teacher table working with a small group of students.
If we get hurt at recess or something happens, we are to let this person know.
Who is the teacher on duty?
We are doing this when we make sure marker and glue tops are on properly, not chewing on pencils, making sure we are not tearing up erasers and paper, and cleaning up around us.
POD, Thankful Thursday, Writing, Read a book, complete uncompleted work/homework are all examples of this.
What are morning work options?
This item you carry it with both hands, cannot eat or drink around it, cannot put it on the floor, and we do not pound the keys on. You take it with you to Ilgen's Classroom everyday.
This is what you should be doing for this type of work and the expectations of it.
1. Everyone is on task.
2. Working together and not arguing.
3. Your team should be the only ones able to hear you. Talking quietly and on subject.
4. All team members working.
What is group work?
This is the procedure order for this:
If teaching, sign out and take the pass. If the pass is gone, sign the sheet and wait for the pass to return. If teaching is happening AND an EMERGENCY, use the signal and the teacher will dismiss you.

This is a famous meme saying that is also a callback to get your attention. When you say it, you are to then stay quiet and have all eyes and ears on the teacher. If you continue talking or giggling, you also get that amount taken off your recess.

When this happens, you are to:
1. Stay calm and listen to instructions from your teacher.
2. Stay quiet, voices must be at zeros.
3.Wait and follow instructions exactly.
What is a safety drill?
This is the date this year that Martin Luther King Jr. Day is on.
What is January 19th?
This is the time of day we are quietly doing our assigned jobs, cleaning our desks if time permits, making sure our floor is clean with no trash, and retrieving personal belongings in cubbies when the teacher dismisses you.
What does the end of the day clean up look like?
You do this everyday when you are done with your Chromebook OR the Lucky Duck will make sure it is doing this. This keeps your Chromebook alive.
How to keep your Chromebook on charger?
This is what you should do when this is happening in a group:
First, ask them politely to help with the project. Then, ask them if they need help. Next, remind them they signed the contract and will need to support their team. Lastly, give them some space and time to do the right thing.
What should you do when someone isn't participating in your group?
These should be quick and quiet so we can safely and effectively go from one task or classroom to the next.
