After Gatsby tells Tom that Daisy loves him and not Tom, Tom seems unconcerned that Daisy will leave him and even tells Gatsby to drive Daisy home. Explain why Tom reacts this way.

Tom is "old money," so he has always been wealthy and entitled, and has probably always gotten his way. He know that Daisy's main love isn't Gatsby, but the security and comfort wealth and money can bring, so Tom know she will stay with him because he can always provide those things for her.
