Describe the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD

The Jews rebelled against the Roman rulers who were tyrannical and oppressed the people. It reached its height in AD 70 when Titus besieged Jerusalem. The citywas crowded and famine and pestilence broke out. The Romans broke through the outer wall and set the temple on fire. The whole city was razed to the ground except three towers and a part of the wall, whixh were left in order that the world know how strong the city was before it was taken by Rome.
