He came from the North to Erebor where he burned and sacked Dale before entering the Kingdom under the Mountain where he slaughtered or drove out the dwarves; ruled under the Mountain for over 150 years; enraged that the Company because Bilbo dared touch his treasure; he attacked and destroyed Lake-town where he was killed by Bard.
Who is Smaug?
One of the finest hobbit-holes in all of Hobbiton, this place symbolizes the comforts of home; Bilbo often dreams of this place: for example he dreams of eating breakfast there more than once.
