MIXED REVIEW:

Why did big cities form along the fall line of the Piedmont Region and not in the Appalachian Plateau?

When ships carrying goods reached the fall line, they could travel no father.

Any goods going west had to be brought to the falls for shipment and any goods carried from the east had to be unloaded at the falls.
