Sin & Salvation
Adam and Eve did this, causing sin to enter the world.
Disobeying God by eating from the forbidden tree.
The people of God lived here for many years as slaves.

The unblemished lamb represented Jesus having this quality.
Being without sin.
Jesus was born as a man but without this.
Sin
This book of the Bible contains the story of the Passover Lamb.
Exodus (Chapter 12).
These are the two things that must be reversed so man can regain life.
The sentence of death and corrupted nature.
This was the number of the plague that finally won the Israelites their freedom.
The tenth plague.
Just as no bones of the lamb were broken, this Gospel records that no bones of Jesus were broken.
The Gospel of John (19:32–33).
Jesus's death on the Cross fulfilled the justice of God and lifted this from us.
The sentence of death.
This is the name of the man God sent to save the Israelites from slavery.

God did not simply forgive man because He possesses these four qualities.
God is merciful and loving, AND holy and just.
Each family's lamb had to be perfect, male, and this age.

The blood on the doorposts symbolizes this, which cleanses us from every sin (Hebrews 9:22).
The Blood of Jesus Christ.
This quality of Jesus means His Blood is enough to redeem all of humanity, from Adam to the last person.
Being infinite.
What is the consequence of sin?
Corruption of the Human Nature, sent out of the Garden of Eden, and death and separation from God.

What animal has to be sacrificed in the Passover?

This is the fifth thing we must do to accept God's redemption.
Do good works.
The lamb was roasted on these, which foreshadowed the Cross.

The lamb being a memorial of salvation from slavery represents Christ saving us from this.
The slavery of sin and the devil.
Through His Resurrection, Jesus gave us eternal life and did this to our corrupted nature.

The Israelites ate the lamb with these two things alongside it.
