This era is the inverse of its OG counterpart, as while this era's seasons also tended to play it safe sometimes, it doesn't help that, of the 4 in its lifespan: 1 series is genuinely great, 1 is good but iffy, 1 is honestly too mid for my tastes, and they're all outweighed by the god-awful slap in the face that is the second series after Samurai.

Seen as the series that may have saved Power Rangers during the tail-end of the Disney Era, the Sentai for this season (Go-Onger) is a rather lighthearted multiple realms of racing story, the Power Rangers series chose to take the story into one of the darkest and bleakest settings in the franchise, while still having some hope left to spare. It's enough to get your heart revving up to the max.
