What is: We should separate ourselves from sinful ways, avoid what is wrong, and stay close to Him.

What is: we know we've passed from death to life because we love each other.

What is Deception

What are: People who claim to be Christians but live in sin.

What is: We shouldn't team up (yoked together) with unbelievers in close partnership because righteousness and sin, or light and darkness, don't mix.

What is: "I will be a Father to you, and you will be my sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty." He will be like a loving Father to us.
What is the message that John proclaimed (1 John 1:5)?
What is: That God is pure and perfect, with no sin or wrongdoing in Him at all.
How can we know the difference between "children of God" and children of the devil" (1 John 3:7-10)?
What is: The children of God do what is right and love others, while the children of the devil keep sinning and don't show love.
How many times did Jesus say we should forgive our brothers and sisters (Matthew 18:21-22)?
What is Seventy-seven times?
Meaning, we should always forgive.

We can't be salt and light from a distance. Jesus himself was criticized for being a friend of sinners (Luke 15:1-2), but like Jesus, God wants us to have a transforming influence on the world around us -- Not the other way around.

What is: If we claim we're close to God but keep living in sin, we're not being honest.

What is: Jesus promised that when we live in love and unity, the world will know that God sent Him and loves us.
