This type of bone is largely used for for protection, due to the large amount of area it could cover

Located in the middle of the spine, this section has the most vertebrae with a total of 12.

Starting at the top. This collection of 8 flat bones protects the brain

The other bone that forms the pectoral girdle. It's name starts with S, much like it's common name, the shoulder blade
What is the scapula?
This group of small bones makes a significant part of the ankle joint
What are the tarsals?
Hmm something isn't quite right here. These bones don't have a typical shape, which means it is hard to put them into a category, so they made another type just for them.
What is an irregular bone?
Despite the vertebrae within the lumbar section being quite large, there is only a total of this number, meaning it has the least bones of the first three sections
