What is the smoking policy for supervised smoking residents?
2 staff members (CNA's) must accompany all residents deemed supervised for the entirety of the smoke break. No resident should be left outside facility alone at any time. Staff members are not to smoke with residents.

Enhanced Barrier Precautions - you must put on gown and gloves when providing direct cares for the resident identified on the EBP sign. If in the room for more than 15 minutes, gown and gloves must be worn even if not directly providing cares.

What is the process of reporting actual/suspected abuse?
Intervene/stop (if applicable). Assess the resident for injuries that need immediate attention. Contact Colin to report the situation/suspicion. Must be reported within 2 hours of discovering the concern.
