What are COSTUMES?
Person who pretends to be someone else in a play, musical, movie or TV show etc.
What is an ACTOR/ACTRESS?
A frozen/still and silent stage pictures, usually using different levels in space and big facial expressions
What is TABLEAU?
Animated movie about a woman who changes her apperance to help save her father and win a war. BD Wong does the voice for a main character in this movie.

What is a PLAYWRIGHT?
Anything an actor holds or moves on stage while acting
What are PROPS?
The written play/musical/movie where the actors learn their lines and read the stage directions
What is a SCRIPT?
When an actor or actors are on stage and everything is made up on the spot, no rehearsal or scripts
What is IMPROV?
Most famous tragic play where two characters who's families hate each other, fall in love and are dead by the end of the play

A serious play/story where bad and/or sad things happen to our main character, usually because of their own mistakes

A tragic TV show where characters in high school deal with friend fights, bad parent relationships and drug addiction. Zendaya plays one of the main characters.
What is EUPHORIA?
The events that happen in a story (beginning, middle and end). Hint: starts with "p"
What is the PLOT?
Something that you can hear in the background that adds to the atmosphere or storytelling
What are SOUND EFFECTS and/or BACKGROUND MUSIC?
A story that is energetic and physical, usually involving some chaos and wild behavior. Uses wisecracks, surprise and sarcasm.
What is a COMEDY?
A story that focuses on disaster not tragedy, has an exaggerated plot and archetypal characters (ie. good guys and bad guys)
What is a MELODRAMA?
Melodrama featuring superheroes that all work together to beat a supervillan collecting stones
What is AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR?
Something or someone that stands in the way of the main character, what drives drama.
What is CONFLICT and/or OBSTACLE and/or ANTAGONIST?
Voice actors are alone in a booth with these two things
What are SCRIPTS and MICROPHONES?
How a voice actor speaks for a character to make them sound different than the actor normally sounds
What is a CHARACTER VOICE?
Actors acting out a scene or situation using only their body, no speaking. Typically involves heavy makeup so the audience can see the actors face very clearly.

Written by Lorraine Hansberry, this is about a family that gets some extra money and wants to move into a bigger house. This play deals with housing discrimination, racism and following your dreams.
