Syllabus
What are the six class expectations and define them.
1 - Be Ready to Learn: Enter the classroom prepared, begin the assigned warm-up or opening activity immediately, and use class time responsibly.
2 - Be Respectful: Respect classmates, the teacher, classroom materials, ideas, and the creative process. Students should understand when to take space and when to give space, especially during discussions, rehearsals, and collaborative work.
3 - Participate Fully: Engage in activities, rehearsals, discussions, and performances with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
4 - Collaborate as an Ensemble: Support one another, communicate appropriately, listen actively, and contribute to a positive classroom environment.
5 - Practice Safety: No running, horseplay, or unsafe behavior is permitted. Theatre involves movement, equipment, and creative exploration, so students must make responsible choices to ensure everyone’s safety.
6 - Respect the Space: Treat all props, costumes, equipment, furniture, and classroom materials with care.
Where do all personal belongings go and why?
Under the white board. There is tons of movement so we don't want anything to jeopardized our safety and we want our belongings safe.
