If 2 people are biking down a hill (gliding, NO brakes), who's kinetic energy is greater (keep in mind both bikes are identical). EXPLAIN
1) The person who weighs 180 pounds has greater kinetic energy.
2) The person who weighs 110 pounds has greater kinetic energy.
The person who weighs more (180 pounds) has the greater kinetic energy. Kinetic energy depends on 2 things, an objects mass (or weight) and it's speed). Both bikers started downhill at the same time, so the heavier weight will generate more kinetic energy.
