Oknokwo goes out in the night to find her. Although the Oracle instucts Enizem'a parents not to follow her, Oknokwo is very worried about his daughter and disobeys orders. This reveals to the reader his "softer" side and allows us to realize that he is actually capable of "being a loving father."
