An example of this would be a child saying "drived" instead of "drove" when using the word drive in past tense.

The best representation of a concept. The first thing that comes to mind when you are asked to picture a general thing. (example: a car)

A problem solving formula that gives you step-by-step instructions that will lead you to your desired outcome. This is also a term used in coding.

The hemisphere that is associated with language and is most affected by linguistic influences

Knowing that when the leaves start to change color and turn orange, that it is autumn.

An example of this type of mental set would be thinking you can't open a bottle since you don't have a bottle opener. Although you had a lighter you could have used to open the bottle all along.
