Detention before or after school for 15 mintues.

May my child bring birthday invitations and birthday treats to school.
Students are not allowed to bring invitations of any kind to school to pass out. Students may bring birthday treats to share with their classmates. Treats must be store bought, may not contain peanuts or/and peanut buttter, and must have an ingredient label on the package.

What is the name of the behavior plan adopted by Upchurch?
Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive approach to establishing the behavioral supports and social culture and needed for all students in a school to achieve social, emotional and academic success.

What exactly is a "reminder"?
A "reminder" is just that. A reminder from the teacher or other staff member given to the student of what school and classroom expectations are at Uphurch. This is an opportunity for the student to correct the mistake and make a better choice next time.
