Upon exposure to this infectious disease, "employees will be offered a vaccination immediately, but no later than 24 hours following a first-aid incident in which a staff was exposed to blood or fluids. If an employee declines the vaccination, the employee will sign a declination form. Employees that decline may request and obtain the vaccination later, at no cost. Documentation of refusal is kept in the ESM’s office."
