first Superbowl?

President Vicente Fox was in

office. He had taken power in

December 2000, becoming the first

president from the PAN party

(Partido Acción Nacional), breaking

71 years of PRI rule.

Did you have any siblings?

Yes, of course. I have 3 sisters: Maureen, Julie, and

Nancy.

achievement or contribution

to your sport?

Seven Super Bowl titles, more

than any other player in NFL

history.

Records for passing yards and

touchdowns in both the regular

season and postseason.

I have my own brand “TB12”,

Yes, golf and extreme

a partner? Did you have any

children?

I married Gisele Bündchen on

February 26, 2009 in a Catholic

ceremony in Santa Monica,

California. And we have 3 children.

medals or recognitions?

I hold the record for most Super Bowl wins with 7

As a player, with 6 titles won with the New England Patriots and

1 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. 

5 Super Bowl MVP awards which is another all-time record,

surpassing any other player in NFL history.

How are you currently

honored?

With tributes by the NFL, in the teams

where I played and with the recognition of

fans and media as the best QB in history. I also have a statue in at Gillette stadium in Foxborough, Mass.

life?

TB12 are my initials and the

number I used.

I haven't died yet.

discover or create?

The TB12 method.

songs about you?

Yes, the documentary Man in the

Arena: Tom Brady (2021) and some books

about my career.

What surprising thing almost

no one knows about you?

As a young man, I was selected by the

Montreal Expos for baseball, but I chose to

dedicate myself to American football.

professional debut?

Drug trafficking was an ongoing

problem, but the full-scale drug

war had not begun yet.

What was your childhood like?

Since I was little, I was exposed to the sport in various ways. My dad was very supportive of his sporting interests.

Did you have any funny anecdotes in your public life?

In Super Bowl celebrations with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, I threw the Lombardi trophy from one boat to another at a party, something that went viral.
